Outcomes that can be attributed to an organisation’s activities in order to report efficiently and effectively for all to understand.

Environmental Impact Measurement

Environmental impacts can be recorded as a measurement or a value.

Investing in stakeholders

Stakeholders of a business refer to any individual, group or party that the organisation has an effect on, through its operations and actions as a company. Examples of stakeholders include employees, customers, shareholders, suppliers, communities, and governments.

UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

At the heart of “Agenda 2030” are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which clearly define the world we want and need. The SDGs result from a process that has been more inclusive than ever, with Governments involving business, civil society and citizens from the outset. Fulfilling these ambitions will take an unprecedented effort by all sectors in society. Business, in particular, has a very important role in the process to help alleviate poverty, fight inequality and protect our planet – to name just a few.

Does your organisation align its operations and strategy to address the SDGs?

Purpose

Purpose is an organisation’s reason for existing. It is not a vision or a mission, but a simply worded statement that clearly expresses an organisation’s intention or motivation for being. (not organisations vision/mission/values)
