Kenya Working Group
The Shared Value Africa Initiative established working groups across two of our biggest regions (South Africa and Kenya) in order to bring various sectors together to collaborate on addressing issues affecting the communities they operate in.
As a collaboration platform, the working groups, made up of private sector, academia and civil society, demonstrate the power of the collective to affect change for all – beyond competition into collaboration. The South Africa Working Group focuses on supporting and empowering SMMEs in order to be more sustainable, and the Kenya Working Group’s main activity will be to affect the impact of climate change, primarily through the reforestation programme initiated by the Kenyan government. Both projects are currently in development phase.
